Welcome to Integrating Technology!

Integrating Technology into the curriculum is a priority in most schools today. Educational experts believe that technology should be used to as t tool to promote and extend student learning daily. There are a number of challenges that prevent teachers from using technology- some are not comfortable with the use of technology, some feel that their students are too young for technology, teachers do not want to take time away from the basics- reading, writing, arithmetic and the list goes on. However, if used properly technology can be an effective tool in the classroom for teachers and students. On this blog I will share how technology can be used in the classroom to create a learning environment conducive for 21st Century Learners, global learning, and differentiation of instruction so that all students experience success in the classroom.
